IT Intern
ReOrbit is looking for proactive IT Interns to support our growing team and help keep our technology running smoothly across all locations.
As our IT Intern, you will play a hands-on role in supporting our Google GCP platform initiatives, IT inventory transformation, and project management enablement through JIRA. It’s an exciting opportunity to learn and contribute in improving system reliability, optimizing modern workplace tools, and helping teams work more efficiently, securely, and collaboratively every day.

Responsibilities
Project 1 – IT Inventory consolidation and automation
Conduct discovery and documentation of hardware and software assets
Software license management, including renewal and payment processes
Assist in the selection and implementation IT inventory automation tool
Evaluate and test the feasibility of JIRA auto-discovery or similar IT tool
Develop and publish standardized inventory management processes
Assist with Inventor data migration of hardware and software inventories into the new system and ensure it is operational
Project 2 – JIRA implementation for Project management
Support implementation of JIRA-based project management. An opportunity to learn JIRA (Atlassian Platform) and Project management on automated tool
Consolidate current and upcoming IT projects and tasks by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and Import projects and tasks, Excel to JIRA
Work with the HOD to define Projects Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Work with Dashboard team connect JIRA projects and feed progress organizations dashboard
Skills and Requirements
Experience in IT work gained through studies or work experience
Basic experience in IT through academic projects, internships, or work experience
Basic skills on MS Office tools such as Work, XLS, PPT, Outlook, Teams or similar
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms Microsoft, Google & relevant IT tools
Strong documentation, analytical, and organizational skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Proactive, detail-oriented, ability to navigate, work with team and eager to learn
Understanding of IT environment, software lifecycle, or asset management concepts
Exposure to any project management tools or (e.g., JIRA, Excel-based tracking) is an advantage
