Project Manager - Avionics
ReOrbit is looking for a Project Manager – Avionics to lead avionics development and integration for the SiltaSat GEO satellite.
This role ensures the successful delivery of power systems, onboard electronics, harnessing, sensors, actuators, and all electrical interfaces required for long‑duration GEO missions.

Responsibilities
Lead all avionics domain activities across the GEO satellite program.
Oversee development and integration of
Power systems
Onboard electronics
Harnessing
Sensors and actuators
Power, signal, and data interfaces
Manage electrical interface control and cross‑subsystem alignment.
Coordinate with subsystem leads and Work Package Managers.
Lead procurement and supplier follow‑up for avionics hardware and long‑lead items.
Support verification, electrical integration, and testing activities.
Serve as custodian of the Electrical Interface Control Document (EICD).
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage.
5+ years of experience in avionics or flight hardware development within a space or aerospace company.
Strong understanding of avionics integration, electrical interfaces, and GEO‑mission reliability requirements.
Experience with environmental testing (EMC, vibration, TVAC) for avionics systems.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Understanding of power distribution, signal integrity, and data‑handling architectures.
Experience with electrical integration workflows and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of ESD‑safe handling and transport of sensitive avionics hardware.
