Solutions Engineer
ReOrbit is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team in Helsinki. As a Solutions Engineer, you will bridge the gap between our advanced satellite technologies and customer needs, driving sales by providing technical expertise and tailored solutions. This dynamic role requires a deep understanding of satellite systems, network design, and emerging technologies in the space industry. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain significant visibility within the organization.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of communication satellite technology, including multi-orbit satellite constellations, ground infrastructure, and applications
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into customized solutions, ensuring alignment with ReOrbit’s technical capabilities
- Prepare technical proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and cost estimates in collaboration with engineering, sales and management teams
- Support sales presentations and meetings with customers, providing technical insight and product demonstrations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including sales, engineering, finance, legal) to ensure successful project execution
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to stay ahead of the curve
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Communications engineering, with a preference for a Master’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Satellite communication with a minimum of 3 years in a sales/solutions engineering role
- Strong knowledge of satellite technology including Link Budget analysis, Ground Segment design, Network Design and Optimization
- Proficient in MATLAB, Python, or other relevant software package
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skill
- A passion for the space industry and a strong interest in satellite technology
- Willingness to travel (10-30% of the time) for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
