Global Payroll and HR Manager
ReOrbit is looking for a Global Payroll and HR Manager to join our growing team. The role will be a focal point in coordinating all global payroll and HR compliance related activities across all our locations. You work in close collaboration with VP, People Operations to ensure our people policies, processes and payroll practices adhere to compliance requirements while providing advise and support to our team members regardless of their location.

Key Responsibilities
- Global Payroll Coordination: Create and implement process to manage our global payroll processes in all company locations, collaborate with local and global partners to ensure payroll is executed in timely manner and according to local regulations.
- HR Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all local and global HR regulations, labor laws, incl. GDPR and tax requirements, create and maintain relevant HR policies according to best practices.
- HR Operations: Provide guidance and support to team leaders and team members on HR best practices, local labor laws, and compliance matters. Manage the employee life-cycle process.
- Process Development: Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing people processes and systems, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, compliance and employee experience.
Skills and Requirements
- Extensive knowledge in leading and coordinating the work of external payroll providers in Finland and abroad
- Proven experience in managing HR compliance across multiple countries
- working with and/or establishing new legal entities in different locations (preferably both within Europe and outside Europe
- collaborating with legal partners globally to solve multitude of issues in HR fields
- ensuring the HR processes are compliant with different standards (e.g ISO9001, ISO27001)
- Hands-on experience in creating new HR policies and handbooks for new entities and onboarding new employees
- Proven experience in managing employee life-cycle process in multiple locations.
- High-level of self-organization
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to proactively to look for solutions to new situations, and propose solutions
- Fluent English skills, Finnish is highly appreciated.
- The role is based in Helsinki, and relocation support does not apply for this position
